MTV Voices is your life in your words – so what do you want to say?
We want to show the world what it’s really like to be a young person today, so if you’ve got something to say, we want to hear it. This is what we’re looking for:
- You to tell us your story about something monumental that’s happened in your life
- An amazing young person you think we should get in touch with
- An issue that you think we should uncover
- Opinions about something that is going on in the world right now.
So, if you have an idea, or want to write for us, get in touch telling us who you are, and what you want to do. We are looking for content that challenges stereotypes, exposes new cultures, profiles amazing individuals, takes a fresh look at city, country or way of life, or just digs deeper into the day to day life of a generation.
All of our articles are published and shared with MTV International and may be promoted on social media channels around the world. If we want to turn your idea into an article we will get in touch about next stages – all articles are about 300 words long, and each author can have their own author’s page, or choose to remain anonymous.
Plus, we also want to support young talent around the world who have strong ideas about the content they want to make, and how they want to make it. From short formats, through to documentaries, or self-shot diary, the opportunity is there to bring your ideas to life and create content that is shared around the world. So drop us an email if you are:
- a photographer with an idea for a shoot, gallery or photo journalism piece
- a film-maker who has a subject, or individual they want to tell in a short film
