Kabul Dreams

Siddique Ahmed was born in Kabul but grew up in Pakistan, where he went to school and got into music. He returned to Kabul in 2004 where he met Sulyman. He’s been playing in the band since they founded it in 2008. He graduated from American University of Afghanistan with a Bachelor’s degree in social science.

Raby Adib was born in 1992 in Kabul, during Afghanistan’s civil war. He remained in the country and grew up in Kabul. He attended the Afghanistan National Institute of Music where he learned to play drums. He graduated in 2010 with a major in percussion instruments. In February 2013, he joined Kabul Dreams, replacing their previous drummer.

Sulyman was born in Kabul in 1990. During civil war he spend several years in Uzbekistan. He moved back to Afghanistan after the collapse of the Taliban regime. He went to business school in Kabul and achieved a BBA degree in Management. He is also the band’s songwriter and producer.
